This hospital has been amazing. My mom came in to the ER after a bad fall while camping. She was admitted with a broken wrist and pelvis, and other hairline fractures. Munson is 2.5 hours from home, so by the time I made it up , it was late. Everyone I interacted with has been terrific. Shout out to Nurse David and Bree on Floor D. Also, thank you to goofy Dr. Leslie and Dr. McDonald for putting her back together.

Staff worked their best during a challenging time with the computer system. Staff was attentive and help my mother as she recovered from her knee surgery. Keep up the progress!

My Mom was transported here from Petoskey ER. From the ER staff to the C4 and A3 staff - each and everyone have been so kind, caring and concerned with the treatment my Mom has needed just in 1 day. She will be staying here at least 3 days and I am grateful her care will be the BEST. When you are dealing with so much in a short time, it is so wonderful to feel the respect and concern from every member of this Hospital. Thank you for treating us with such care and kindness.

Amazing staff and care! And the research shows- it is statistically one of the best hospitals in the country. Traverse City has wonderful doctors and medical care.

On vacation in Traverse City and my daughter got food poisoning from a restaurant here unfortunately. All the people from the person who checked us in to the male nurse who took her vitals to her nurse in her room to the doctor were awesome!!! My daughter was uncontrollably getting sick for 2 hours and they helped her big time!! They were courteous and kind!! Wish they were like this at the hospitals by me!! Thanks for taking care of my daughter ♥️♥️♥️

My godfather has been in and out of MMC 3 times in the past year for various surgeries and ailments. As his POA, I've found the staff to be very helpful and communicative with me on his diagnoses, treatment plans, next steps, etc. The hospital is convenient, clean, and easy to navigate once inside.

I would like to give a shout out to all the doctors and staff that took care of my husband in ICU. My husband fell and received a traumatic brain injury. These people were amaizing ! From the security guards all the way up to the Nurosurgens! If I forget anyone , I apologize. Bree,Adriana,Travis,Joe,Q,Mel,Lacy,Kurtis,Niki,Saunder,Respitory team,the Social worker,the ladies in pr-op,Christy,Coleen,physical therapy,the Lab team,the case workers,Speech therapy, Savannah. Munson staff was very compassionate towards my daughter while she stayed overnight. Dr. Archangeli was thoughtful and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable speaking with him about my daughter's care.

I was admitted to MMC for sepsis Dec 2024 and my daughter was admitted to the NICU August 2025 Both times we entered through the ER. The ER staff were kind, friendly and professional. Katie was very helpful and ready to defend my privacy. Melissa is an angel and contributed to keeping me from developing ppd. The team in the OR and post op(Cynthia) with Dr. Zuckerman were super friendly and compassionate. The various nurses and CNAs in the B3 Surgical Unit (Julie, Erin, Kelly, Jordan, Kay, Jeanette) were all very kind and compassionate as well. Kelly was a delight to talk to and Erin deserves a raise. The NICU nurses and doctor (Amber, Amanda, Cheryl, Dr Alred, Melody, Alicia, Becky, Maggie, Maddie and I never caught her name but the friendly nurse with curly hair and glasses) are wonderful caring angels and incredibly supportive. Amber and Amanda were assigned to my daughter twice and I’m very grateful to have had them during a scary and uncertain time. They were the other half of a wonderful experience at MMC labor day weekend and with their support and kindness I thankfully did not develop ppd. I would recommend going to MMC to anyone who wishes to be treated with a high level of care and compassion. Please be patient with these amazing people. They are burnt out, tired, doing their best and are committed to helping you. It is not their fault they are understaffed and equipment is not properly stocked. Treat them with kindness and respect.

I was transferred from Cadillac to Traverse City. I was very sick. I spent 10 days there. I had the best care ever in a hospital. The staff from the specialist to the transporter were amazing. Very kind and professional. I was treated with such dignity and respect. I never want to go anywhere else. I thank God for Munson Hospital Traverse City Michigan Thank you staff For your kindness and care Sincerely Susan
